Nikro Coil Cleaning: The Las Vegas Owner’s Guide
If your Nikro coil cleaner isn’t pulling the same vacuum or the pump’s gone quiet, we stock the replacement parts and complete the repair, typically between $85 and $240 installed depending on your model and what failed. We’re an independent service provider, not affiliated with Nikro, but we run their equipment daily on Las Vegas jobs and know exactly which parts interchange. Most owners discover the failure mid-job when the coil rinsing stops breaking down crusted evaporator grime, or when the sprayer dribbles instead of fanning.
Which Nikro Models This Applies To
Nikro’s coil cleaning lineup runs from the smaller CC-1 and CC-2 portable units used on residential evaporator coils up to the CC-3 and CC-4 cart systems built for commercial AHU and condenser work across Las Vegas strip properties. The part compatibility differs by series, and here’s the gotcha we see weekly: the CC-2 and CC-3 share a pump body but not the same nozzle manifold, so a part ordered off the wrong diagram will not seat even though it looks identical from three feet away. Check the label on the lower left of the tank or the motor housing. You’re looking for a four-digit date code and the exact series stamp, because Nikro revised the pickup tube diameter in 2019 and later units will not thread onto earlier coiled hoses.
For Las Vegas use, we generally recommend OEM Nikro parts over aftermarket for the pump and the quick-connect fittings. The aftermarket pumps we’ve tested run fine for a season or two, but the seals dry out faster in our single-digit humidity and then you’re back in the same spot. Where aftermarket works just as well is the sprayer wand and the vinyl pickup line. Those are commodity items, and we’ll tell you honestly when the cheaper part is the smarter buy. We also stock coil cleaning parts for Lennox, Trane, and Carrier units for homes where the Nikro machine is used alongside other equipment.
Styles & brands we work with

Signs Your Nikro Coil Cleaning Is Failing
- Loss of spray pressure at the wand. This usually points to a worn impeller in the pump or a cracked pickup tube letting air into the line. You’ll notice the fan pattern flattens out and the chemical just trickles onto the coil instead of foaming it.
- The pump runs but no liquid moves. On CC-2 and CC-3 units, the inline check valve is the first thing to fail. It’s a five-dollar part that sits inside the quick-connect, and when it sticks, the pump cavitates and pulls nothing.
- Chemical leaking from the base of the tank. The tank gasket at the pump mount degrades from repeated chemical exposure. Nikro factory gaskets are neoprene, and Las Vegas coil cleaners sit in trucks that hit 140 degrees in summer, which accelerates that breakdown.
- Motor hums but won’t start. A seized pump from dried chemical residue. This happens when a unit sits unused between spring and fall. The fix is a pump rebuild or replacement, not just a capacitor.
- Wand trigger sticks or won’t fully close. The trigger seat wears into an oval from constant on/off cycling on multi-coil days. It causes backpressure through the seals, which then fail from the wrong side.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included
For Las Vegas homeowners and HVAC techs, here’s what we’re charging for Nikro coil cleaning repair as of this season. The range depends on whether we’re rebuilding a pump or replacing the whole head unit.
| Part / Service | Typical Installed Price |
|---|---|
| Inline check valve and gasket set | $40 – $65 |
| Pickup tube and sprayer wand | $50 – $90 |
| Pump rebuild (seals, impeller, housing) | $90 – $150 |
| Pump replacement, full head unit | $160 – $240 |
Every price is a written quote before we touch the unit, and it does not change at the door. We install the part, pressure-test the line, and run the machine through a full clean cycle on a scrap coil in our shop so you know it works before it goes back in your truck or garage. The work is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the repair fails within a year, we return and correct it at no charge.
DIY or Call Us?
The chemical side of coil cleaning is low-voltage and low-risk. Rinsing a coil with a Nikro sprayer is not the dangerous part. The dangerous part is opening an electrical panel or disconnecting a condenser fan to get at the coil underneath, and that is where we see the most rookie damage. If your Nikro unit’s pump has failed and you’re tempted to crack the housing, know that the impeller is under spring tension, and on the CC-3, the pump shaft is press-fit, not bolted. Prying it wrong scores the shaft and ruins the new impeller in under a week. We’ve rebuilt dozens of these. If it’s a wand or a check valve, a careful owner can handle that. If it’s the pump or motor, call (725) 600-6597 and let Omar Haddad and our crew do it right the first time.
FAQs
In Las Vegas heat, the average Nikro unit needs its first pump rebuild or replacement between 3 and 5 years with residential use, and closer to 2 years if it’s running commercial jobs every day. The heat kills seals faster here than in any coastal climate, and a unit stored in a truck without shade around Summerlin or Henderson will break down measurably faster than one kept in a shop. Call (725) 600-6597 for a free assessment of your unit’s condition.
The short answer is that most Nikro pump failures can be repaired with a seal and impeller kit, but if the housing is scored or the motor windings are burned, replacement is cheaper than a rebuild. We’ll show you the exact wear on your unit before deciding, with the price for both options on paper first.
If we’re replacing a pump, wand, or check valve on a Nikro coil cleaner, the actual work takes about 40 minutes on site, plus a 10-minute test cycle. We carry common Nikro parts on the truck, so in most Las Vegas neighborhoods we can handle it in a single visit without ordering and returning.
We keep the most-failed Nikro parts on the truck: check valves, gasket sets, pickup tubes, sprayer wands, and full pump heads for the CC-1 through CC-4 series. If you have a less common part number, we can usually have it in hand within two business days. Estimates are free, so call (725) 600-6597 and ask for exact availability before you order anything online.
